About SAGA
SAGA Space Architects is a Copenhagen and Hanoi-based studio, vertically integrated across architecture, engineering, design, and software development. One team, two frontiers.
The first is space architecture: habitats, lighting, and technology for the most extreme environments imaginable. Since 2023, our Circadian Light system has been operating aboard the International Space Station, now surpassing 1,000 days in orbit. We built and tested the LUNARK Moon Habitat during a 100-day Arctic Greenland expedition. We designed FLEXHab, the astronaut training habitat at ESA's European Astronaut Centre. We are working on habitat design for Starlab's commercial space station.
The second is pioneering architecture on Earth. The same tools (topology optimization, generative design, 3D printing, biogenic digital fabrication) applied to buildings that push what's possible here. Skovsporet is Europe's largest 3D-printed housing development. The Mirador Pavilion is the largest 3D-printed structure in Central America. EcoNeo is a 35m² biogenic house built the same way we design for space. Eden Villa, a 750m² private residence in Vietnam, features the world's largest electrochromic glass dome.
This is Terra-Tech: extreme constraints create better methods. Better methods make better buildings, wherever they are.
